I was curious as to whether Robert Caro, he of the voluminous Lyndon Johnson biographies, might be on Twitter. Imagine my amusement when I found this:

The dude has written four 1000-page installments of the life of one guy, and is working on another. I guess the idea of 140 characters at a time just doesn’t even compute.
Near-Earth Object 
The Caro biographies are excellent, but he really needs to pick up the pace. At the rate he’s writing Caro will be dead before he gets to the early years of the Johnson presidency.
